The College’s Internet site will be user-friendly, easy to navigate and contain up-to-date information that is useful to the students/customers. The site will offer key contact names, e-mail addresses, and phone numbers for customers seeking information about the College. The site will clearly identify the date that information is updated. The home page for Galveston College is www.gc.edu.
College faculty and staff will respond to student/customer requests for information as close to the time of the request as possible. Faculty and staff will update students/customers about unavoidable wait times and offer other options to meet their needs. As class schedules are requested, a mailing list will be created and maintained. Once the class schedules have been printed and become available, a schedule will be mailed to all those on the mailing list.
Published information, brochures, catalogs, class schedules, and any other information printed and/or published by the College to promote the College or to inform the public about the College, will be published in a professional and timely manner and will be up-to-date and accurate.
Galveston College seeks fair, just, and prompt solutions, when possible, to all complaints and grievances. Currently enrolled students wishing to discuss issues regarding student services, student life, student rights, and student obligations should do so through the Office of Student Services. All academic and student services related complaints are to follow the policies and procedures outlined in the Galveston College Student Handbook, the College Catalog, and/or the Galveston College Policy Manual.
Employees who have concerns should discuss their concerns with their Direct Supervisor, Department Head, or Director of Human Resources and follow the Complaint Procedure, Section 3.19 in the Employee Handbook.
Individuals or groups external to the College who have concerns or complaints about a customer service issue should address the concern to the Department Head in the area involved. If the issue is unresolved, the complaint should then be directed to one of the College Vice-Presidents. The Customer Service Representative may be contacted for issues unresolved at the department or Vice-President Level or if the customer needs assistance in directing the complaint. Traveling south on I-45
Take 61st Street exit and turn right at stop light. Travel approximately one mile to Seawall Blvd. Turn left on to Seawall. Proceed down Seawall to 39th Street. (Gaido’s Restaurant is at corner of 39th and Seawall). Turn left on 39th and travel north to Avenue Q. Turn left at 39th and Avenue Q and proceed one block to Main Campus. Main Campus parking is available on Avenue Q, Avenue R and satellite parking at 39th and Avenue Q.

Traveling south on I-45
Take Exit 1B toward 71st St. Merge onto frontage road/Broadway St. and travel approximately five blocks to the first stop sign. At the stop sign, turn left onto 71st St. Take the first left onto frontage road/Broadway St and continue on the frontage road for approximately five blocks to the Applied Technology Center campus.
From GC Main Campus
Travel west on Avenue Q toward 45th St. Turn right at 45th St. and proceed to the stop light on Broadway. Turn left onto Broadway and travel approximately one mile. Continue onto I-45 North to Exit 1C. Take Exit 1C and merge onto the frontage road/Broadway St. The Applied Technology Center will be on the right.
