“Mental Health Crisis: What It Is, What to Do, Who to Call” Lunch and Learn

The Galveston College Student Activities office and Faculty Professional Development Committee will host a lunch and learn  on the “Mental Health Crisis: What It Is, What to Do, Who to Call” on Monday, Oct. 8, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Abe and Annie Seibel Foundation Wing on the Galveston College campus.

The speaker is Dr. Michael Miller, assistant professor of psychiatry at UTMB Health.

Dr. Miller received a Bachelor of Science in zoology from the University of Oklahoma and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He completed his internship and residency in psychiatry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. His research and medical interests include general adult psychiatry.

The event is free and open to the public.
