2021 Share Your Holidays Presentation

Galveston College participates in 41st annual ‘Share Your Holidays’

Galveston College delivered much-needed nonperishable food items to Ball High School on Dec. 1 during the 41st Annual ABC13 “Share Your Holidays” food drive.

The 2021 drive, organized by BHS and community partners, collected a record-breaking 29,181 pounds of food and $19,548.66 in donations that will go directly to those in need in Galveston County.

The Galveston College Student Government Association, Hispanic Student Organization and other campus organizations collected canned goods, other non-perishable food items and monetary donations on campus throughout the month of November for the food drive.

The Hispanic Student Organization and the Charlie Thomas Family Applied Technology Center collected the most donations and will receive pizza parties.

Media Coach Mike Dudas of Ball High School and publicist Robyn Bushong are Galveston’s coordinators for “Share Your Holidays.” More than 40 community partners participated in this year’s event.
