Fall registration set at Galveston College

General registration for the fall 2018 semester at Galveston College will be from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, Aug. 20-23, in Moody Hall on the Galveston College campus, 4015 Avenue Q, Galveston, Texas.

Late registration is set for 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25. Classes begin Monday, Aug. 27.

The fall course listing includes classes in accounting, art, biology, business administration, chemistry, communication, computed tomography, cosmetology, computer and network administration, computer science, criminal justice, culinary arts, developmental studies, diagnostic medical sonography, drama, economics, education, electrical and electronics, emergency medical services, engineering, English, environmental science, government, health information, HVAC, history, humanities, instrumentation technology, kinesiology/physical education, law enforcement, learning framework, magnetic resonance imaging, mathematics, medical administration, music, nuclear medicine, nursing, philosophy, physics, psychology, radiation therapy, radiography, sociology, Spanish, speech, surgical technology, vocational nursing and welding technology.

Terrific Tuesdays at Galveston College

College offers Terrific Tuesdays each week this summer

The Galveston College Office of Admissions will offer Terrific Tuesdays every Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. from now through Aug. 7.

Terrific Tuesdays offer prospective students an opportunity to tour the campus and to find out additional information about college programs, admissions, financial aid, testing and other student services.

The schedule for Terrific Tuesdays is as follows:

  • 2 p.m.-3 p.m.    Campus Tour (starting at Admissions desk)
  • 3 p.m.-5 p.m.    College Knowledge 101 Information Session (Room 357, Regents Hall)

Students may choose to attend both the tour and the information session or either individually.
