Galveston College announces tuition payment plan

Galveston College has announced a tuition payment plan available to students who enroll for the fall and spring semesters.

FACTS e-Cashier is a payment plan to help students budget the cost of their tuition into their monthly expenses. It is not a loan program. Students will incur no debt, there are no interest or finance charges assessed, and there is no credit check. The cost to budget an interest-free monthly payment plan is a $25 per semester, per college non-refundable FACTS enrollment fee.

Students who enroll for the fall semester by July 24 will pay 25 percent down with three remaining payments of 25 percent each in August, September and October. Students who enroll in the payment plan from July 25-Aug. 23 will pay 50 percent down with two remaining payments of 25 percent each in October and November. Payments will be charged on the 5th of each month.

Registration for the fall 2019 semester is open now. Students are encouraged to enroll early for best class selection.

• Log in the Whitecaps portal at https://whitecaps.gc.edu
• Click the quick link labeled “FACTS Payment Plan”
• Select proceed to processor
• Follow prompts to complete agreement

Spring 2019 registration set at Galveston College

General registration for the spring 2019 semester at Galveston College will be from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, Jan. 14-16, in Moody Hall on the Galveston College campus, 4015 Avenue Q, Galveston, Texas.

 

Late registration is set for 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Jan. 17-18. Classes begin Tuesday, Jan. 22.

 

The spring course listing includes classes in accounting, art, biology, business administration, chemistry, communication, computed tomography, cosmetology, computer and network administration, computer science, criminal justice, culinary arts, developmental studies, diagnostic medical sonography, drama, economics, education, electrical and electronics, emergency medical services, engineering, English, environmental science, government, health information, HVAC, history, humanities, instrumentation technology, kinesiology/physical education, law enforcement, learning framework, magnetic resonance imaging, mathematics, medical administration, music, nuclear medicine, nursing, philosophy, physics, psychology, radiation therapy, radiography, sociology, Spanish, speech, surgical technology, vocational nursing and welding technology.

General registration for the 2018 summer I session is open at Galveston College.

Students may also register early for summer II and fall 2018.

Registration hours are from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.

Summer I classes begin Monday, June 4. Summer II classes begin Monday, July 9. The fall 2018 semester begins Monday, Aug. 27.
