Students, faculty and staff are invited to join the Galveston College team for a mile-long walk on Friday, Oct. 4, at 6 p.m. in front of the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier in honor of those affected by domestic violence.
Cynthia Parra with the Galveston College Student Activities office is team captain.
Participants who pre-register by Friday, Oct. 4, at 2 p.m. will receive free admission to the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier and a free ride pass. Free parking will be available at Fish Tails. Register Here!
Please bring an extra pair of shoes to display during the event. This display represents the many faces of those affected domestic violence.
