Faculty, staff, students, families and supporters at Galveston College’s Applied Technology Center (ATC) wrapped up Accelerate TEXAS week with fun fish fry luncheon Friday afternoon.

During Accelerate TEXAS Week, all Accelerate TEXAS colleges and districts and other statewide partners staged and coordinated activities to raise Texans’ awareness of the need for Adult Basic Education-to-postsecondary pathways.This weeklong celebration brings together adult students, their families, college faculty and administrators, local employers, community leaders, and legislators to honor the work and early successes of this initiative.
