Galveston College believes the talents and ambitions of our young people are among the most valuable resources this nation possesses. With this in mind, the College continues to promote grants, scholarships, work-study, and loan programs for its students who need financial assistance to make college attendance a reality.
Grants are funds that do not have to be repaid unless, you withdraw from school or owe a refund. All grants are awarded to students with financial need. The amount of some grants depends on the cost of attendance, expected family contribution, enrollment status, and whether you attend a full academic year. There are two types of grants awarded by Galveston College, federal grants and state (Texas) grants.LEARN MORE
