8-week courses are designed to help students stay motivated, succeed academically, and graduate faster!
8-week courses move at a faster pace, with faculty covering material from day one—so students should be ready to participate immediately. Assignments or exams may be scheduled within the first two weeks, leaving no time for procrastination. Additionally, a portion of the coursework will be completed online, requiring students to dedicate time outside of class for homework, quizzes and other activities each week.
To ensure academic success and manageable coursework, students are allowed to take a maximum of 9 credit hours (or three classes) per 8-week term. Taking more than the maximum number of courses may impact academic performance due to the accelerated nature of the term. Students should carefully consider their time commitments before enrolling in the maximum course load.
