Galveston Mayor Jim Yarbrough and City Manager Brian Maxwell presented a “State of the City” town hall on June 12 in the Abe and Annie Seibel Foundation Wing on the Galveston College campus.
Mayor Yarbrough and City Manager Maxwell took questions from city residents and discussed a number of infrastructure projects and improvements planned for the city in areas such as streets and neighborhoods, lighting, water, facilities, sanitary sewer and drainage.
The event was sponsored by the Galveston Roundtable of Foundations, a network of staff and board members representing numerous Galveston charitable foundations.
