Ten students in Galveston College’s Quickstart Electrical Helper training program completed eight weeks of training on May 10.

Corey LaDay, Daniel Sanchez, David Dellolio, JR Cisneros, Sid Rambin, Raymond Panameno, Faisel Nofal, Horacio Galvan, Louis Romero and Chris Emmite all finished the program taught by instructor Marshel Settlemire and co-instructor Robert Reeves at the Charlie Thomas Applied Technology Center of Galveston College.

The free program is funded by a grant from the Texas Workforce Commission.  New classes will run from June 4 to July 30 from 5-10:30 p.m. at Galveston College’s Applied Technology Center.
