The Galveston College Community Chorale will present their annual spring concert Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 7 p.m. at the Moody Memorial First United Methodist Church, located at 2803 53rd Street in Galveston.

The concert is free and open to the public.

The two-segment concert will begin with the theme of dealing with everyday life, both the challenges and the rewards. "To Everything a Season" by Taylor Davis and "Rhythm of Life" from the musical Sweet Charity will be two of the featured musical pieces.

The second segment of the concert deals with love, that magical, but complex feeling of being in love. "Dance for Love" by American composer Z. Randall Stroope, plus the old familiar tune by Burt Bacharach, "The Look of Love" will be performed.
