The Galveston College Cosmetology Program continues to excel as the latest cohort of college and dual credit students passed their Cosmetology Operator State Board Licensure to maintain a 100% pass rate.
“Our students worked hard and they are committed to the program,” said GC Cosmetology Program Director, Sandra Villarreal. “The program is challenging and I’m proud of how our students responded when presented with those challenges. Our students are not alone, of course. We help them through the program every step of the way, provided them with the resources and learning experiences they needed to be successful, and they all achieved their state licensure.”
The Cosmetology program students passed their written exam in mid-summer and later took their state boards in Houston.
