The Galveston College Cosmetology program students visited the Ronald McDonald House Galveston in early May during a special “Manicures for Moms” event.

“We were excited to be a part of this event,” said GC Cosmetology Program Director and Instructor, Sandra Villarreal. “We are looking forward to partnering with the Ronald McDonald House in the future and continue to attend events to provide spa services.”

The GC Cosmetology students provided spa manicures for wellness and relaxation for all the mothers staying at the Ronald McDonald House while their children are receiving medical care.

The spa manicures included exfoliation, therapeutic massage with hot towel removal and finished off with a nail polish of their choice, all while enjoying spa amenities provided by the Ronald McDonald House Galveston.
