The Galveston College Texas Rho Tau Chapter of Lambda Nu celebrated its Second Annual Induction and Pinning Ceremony on April 25 in Moody Hall.

GC’s Lambda Nu Chapter, comprised of the college’s Nuclear Medicine, Radiography, Radiation Therapy and Diagnostic Medical Sonography programs, inducted 21 students and one faculty member during the ceremony.

The Nuclear Medicine program inducted: Hannah Denton, Kennedy Hope, Kevin Recarte, Lauren Martinez, Nicholas Antonio Rivera, Rhea Motte, Taryn Keefer, Tran Nguyen and Clayton Rambo.

The Radiography program inducted: Brianna Berenice Huerta, Chelsea Paola Alonso, Daniel Rene Sanchez, David A. Novack, Hannah Riley Sendejas, Laura Yvette Loera, Sofia Salinas and Yulisa Hernandez-Perez.

The Radiation Therapy program inducted: Arturo Enrique Mendez, Casey Lee Peiffer and Chad Alan Barfield.

The Diagnostic Medical Sonography inducted Joni Ferrell and faculty member Suzanne Bennett was also inducted by the chapter.

Lambda Nu was founded in 2001 and GC’s Rho Tau Chapter was established in 2023 by Radiation Therapy Program Director, Sandra Hayden, and her students.
