The Galveston College Law Enforcement Academy will host the 2023 Law Enforcement Career Day on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, from 5-7 p.m., at the college’s Abe and Annie Seibel Wing.
Students and community members are invited to explore the wide variety of careers available in law enforcement. Representatives from several local, regional and state law enforcement agencies and organizations will be available to talk to students and community members about the various careers in the field of law enforcement and answer any questions they may have.
Among the participating law enforcement agencies are: the Department of Public Safety (DPS), Galveston County Sheriff’s Department, Galveston Police Department, Texas City Police Department and the Port of Galveston Police Department.
In addition, some law enforcement agencies will have equipment and tools used in the field on display.
