Galveston College will welcome the community to GC Island Fest on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the college’s Seibel Wing and main campus lawn, located at 4015 Ave. Q in Galveston. The event is free and open to the public.
 
Blending campus exploration with a lively island atmosphere, GC Island Fest offers something for all ages. Prospective students, families and community members are invited to experience Galveston College firsthand through an afternoon filled with music, food, refreshments, door prizes and interactive activities, including crowd-favorite inflatables and an appearance by GC mascot, Rip Tide, from 1 to 2 p.m.
 
Throughout the event, attendees can connect with faculty, staff and students while discovering the wide range of academic and workforce programs available at the college.
 
Financial Aid representatives will also be available to provide one-on-one assistance, helping attendees navigate the financial aid process, complete FAFSA applications and answer questions. Support will be offered in both English and Spanish.
