Galveston College will host the 2026 Community Pathways Expo, a job and career fair,
on April 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in Moody Hall at the college’s main campus, located
at 4015 Ave. Q. in Galveston. The event is free and open to the community.
The GC Community Pathways Expo is designed to support students, job seekers and community
members exploring career opportunities or planning to continue their education.
The fair will feature employers from a variety of industries, transfer advisors from
regional universities and several interactive career readiness stations. Attendees
may participate in Career Confidence Stations offering quick resume guidance and a
professional photo booth, as well as preview items from the college’s Career Closet
initiative.
“The Career & Transfer Fair is about access,” said Megan Stockfleth, GC Career Placement
& Tutoring coordinator. “We want our community to feel supported as they take their
next steps, whether that means a job, a degree, or simply discovering new possibilities.”
The event will also offer free snacks, popcorn and raffle prizes. No registration
is required.
