Adult Education has announced dates and times for Adult Basic Education (High School Equivalency Prep/College Prep) registration and testing at Galveston College.

Evening registration is set for today, Oct. 1, at 5:45 p.m. in Room 333 of the Mary Moody Northen Center at Galveston College, 4015 Avenue Q, Galveston, Texas.

Morning registration is set for Thursday, Oct. 4, at 8:45 a.m. in the same location.

Doors open 15 minutes prior to start time. Must be present the entire time for testing.

Documentation needed to register:

  • Must be 19 years and older and have a government-issued picture ID with birth date. May be U.S. or foreign (i.e. driver’s license, state ID, passport, visa, military ID, matricula consular, etc.).
  • 18 years old: Must bring high school withdrawal or completion information, parent permission and government-issued ID.
  • 17 years old: Must bring high school withdrawal information, parent permission and government-issued ID.
  • 16 years old: Must bring court order along with a government-issued ID.

Classes will begin Oct. 22.
