In response to the coronavirus pandemic, Galveston College has extended the spring
                              2020 withdrawal deadline from April 17 to April 30. 
                        
                        “We certainly understand the tremendous impact of this unprecedented event on our
                              students and their families,” said Dr. Myles Shelton, college president. “We encourage
                              you to stay in your classes and work with your faculty members to address any concerns.
                              You are very important to us. We’re all in this together.”
                        
                        
                           Students should contact the Counseling and Advising Center at [email protected] for
                              academic and student support services assistance in completing this semester and for
                              help in planning for the next semester. Students should include their name, student ID and phone number in their correspondence.
                        
                        “The entire Galveston College community is dedicated to helping students have the
                              most successful educational experience possible,” Dr. Shelton said. “Please do not
                              hesitate to contact us as we all work to remain healthy and continue our daily activities.”
