Galveston College faculty and staff were given a warm welcome back for the new academic year by GC President Myles Shelton during the Fall 2023 General Assembly on Aug. 18 in the Seibel Wing.
During General Assembly, Dr. Shelton provided a State of the College address, which also included a strategic planning and legislative update. In addition, GC administrators provided updates regarding instruction, student services and administration.
Finally, author, team builder and keynote speaker Lorraine Grubbs provided a lively discussion on leadership to the GC audience.
