A hard-fought 7-6 walk-off victory over Wharton County Junior College on Friday, May 4, sent the Galveston College Whitecaps baseball team to the 2018 NJCAA Region XIV Baseball Tournament.
The Whitecaps (21-33) secured the South Zone #4 seed and will face off against the East Zone #1 seed, Navarro College (35-20), in game four of the tournament on Saturday, May 12, at 8 p.m. in Lufkin, Texas.
